Size: 34mm

The shape, size and posture are similar to Small Skipper. Large Skippers have blotches on both the upper and undersides of the wings. The undersides are often suffused with olive green. Inhabits the same rough grassland and meadows but emerges earlier than the Small Skipper and rarely occurs in large numbers. Widespread resident.
